Helping Cure Childhood Cancer

**I'm extending this until 5pm, Pacific Time, on October 2.
We've been so busy and so I haven't had a chance to post about the quilt again.**

In honor of #childhoodcancerawareness month, I made this quilt to raise funds for research of supporting organizations.
For every $5 you donate, you get an entry for this quilt (like a raffle).

DONATE TO
(Childhood Cancer Research)

(or your local Ronald McDonald House)

Private message me a screen shot of your receipt, and I'll enter you.
Or, email me the same at goldnplum@gmail.com
Please don't send me money or give me account numbers!

This is my childhood cancer warrior/survivor, Anthony!
We're always grateful for his chance to survive and thrive now.
Yet, childhood cancer has forever tainted our viewpoint.

For example, while helping at Anthony's school this morning, I MARVELED at how all the children had hair, and were healthy.
Totally different scene than when we walked the halls of Seattle Children's while on the cancer unit.

This is the back, and the colors are more buttery yellow than this.
I pieced and sewed the quilt together.
My wonderful friend, Sylvia, quilted the loop-de-loop and leaf design on it.  :)

What a beautiful quilt! I love the creams, butters, and the pale peachy/pink all together in one quilt. Gorgeous, really.
