Anyway . . . thank goodness for Joyce!
1. What's your favorite time of day? Why?
I'm all over the place really. Different times of the day have their pros and cons. For instance, I like the morning especially if I have no reason to get up and get going quickly. Which typically means my first cup of coffee in bed, the first half hour of GMA and a first look at emails on my ipad.
Then there is the late afternoon time . . . back when the kiddos were in grade school, our normal routine after school was typically to settle in with homework and a snack. I considered my 'work' day finished by then so no more chores just homework and chatting time. For some reason, to this day, you will not find me doing any chores late in the day. Just doesn't feel right. Ha. These days, in the afternoon, you'll find me with a cup of tea and the pup on the couch. No kiddos and no homework but can't break the habit of being 'available.'
And if there is nothing on the agenda for the evening, it's time for getting into sweats or lounge wear and waiting for the Hubby and watching the telly.
If I had to pick a favorite of the three, I'd go with the evening.
2. Waffle iron, toaster, coffee maker, mixer, blender...which small appliance would you say most needs replacing in your house?
Hmm. I don't think we even have a waffle iron. The mixer gets used seldom and the blender even less. The coffee maker is relatively new. I think we replace that on average every 4-6 months. It get the most use. However, I think my magic bullet is on it's way out. Sister Debbie (she's my sister, not a nun) says to go with the Nutri bullet instead this time. I think. I could be making that up.
3. It's National Grouch Day (October 15)...what's something that makes you feel grouchy?
I'm not a grouchy person by nature, but funny you should ask . . . just this morning I walked into the dinning room and saw this . . .
I knew the Hubby had taken the cushions in on Sunday in anticipation of the rains coming this week but I thought he had actually PUT THEM AWAY. Like into the storage room, where they typically spend the winter. I'm not gonna lie . . . seeing them in my dinning room, made me a tad grouchy.
So I guess you could say that things out of place could make me grouchy.
4. Ever been to Canada? Is that a country you'd like to visit? According to Trip Advisor, the top ten best destinations in Canada are-Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Victoria, Calgary, Niagara on the Lake, Niagara Falls, Whistler, and Halifax. Which city would you most like to see?
Yes, actually. The Hubby and I spent our honeymoon in Canada. We spent time in Vancouver (coincidentally it was the host of the World Fair - Expo '86 that year) and Victoria, Lake Louise in Banff and Calgary.
I think if I had to choose, I'd like to see Niagara Falls. Just to say that I had, not for some burning desire. Ha.
5. What was your favorite food (or one of your favorites) when you were a child? Is that still a favorite?
This is extremely odd especially for me the pickiest of picky eaters, but I used to like mayonnaise on a white bread. Just mayonnaise. I know, weird. I also loved bologna. Like, I'd just eat it straight up out of the package. ha. I think I still like it. I haven't had it in years.
6. Do you cry easily?
Hmm. I guess I'd say yes. I mean, I'm not a cry baby but happiness, sadness and just a release of tension can instigate tears with me.
7. Have you started your (gasp!) Christmas shopping? If so when, and how much? If not, when will you even begin thinking about it?
Um . . .let me think. Yes, I believe I have. Now . . . if I could just remember what that was and where I put it, we'll be doin' good. Ugh.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Seems the Hubby forgot some pertinent papers to be able to file the taxes when he left this morning. Yes, 2013 taxes. Such is the nature of

I could have written a fair chunk of this post. You need one of your kids to get married. There's some fodder there, but sadly not a lot of time to actually put it into words. I will get to the shower tomorrow, and yes I'll have more words than my daughter : ) No chores here after 3 either. Pretty much those things need to be done in the a.m. or they don't happen. I would like to see Niagara too. My sister went this summer and it was crowded. I'm sure it's pretty touristy, but still seems like something I should see. I'm also the tax doc girl Friday. Ugh. That's not my favorite thing. Just sayin'.
