1. What's one simple small pleasure on your summer 'to-do' list?
The simplest small pleasure would be to just sit and read on the deck in the sunshine. Why is this so hard to let myself do while at home? Hmm.
2. Do you have strong feelings or opinions regarding the immigration debate in your home country? Feel free to share your thoughts, but please play nice.
Well I don't give it too much thought but since I'm a 'follow the rules' kind of gal, I think everyone else should too. Follow the rules, that is. Especially those that want to come get their piece of the American Dream and expect and assume all rules do not apply to them also. Case in point: taxes and insurance and all that stuff. That said, I do feel empathy for those kids who were brought into the US by illegal parents who have done nothing to make their kids 'legal' and said kids are suddenly sent back to whence they came yet know nothing and nobody of their 'homeland.' That is sad.
3. What's something in your home or wardrobe that could be described as 'star spangled'?
I have nothing in my closet that is star spangled. I do have quite a bit of July 4th paraphernalia. This is my table scape inside . . .
4. Is your house set up for a party?
Yes. Always. Especially in the Summer when the deck is furnished, the BBQ is grilling, the heaters are lit and the mountain is visible in the distance. Perfect party atmosphere.
5. What one never-before-visited city in America, would you most like to see?
I have yet to see the Grand Canyon and it's so close too! Well, relatively close. What's up with that?!
6. Your favorite red food? White food? Blue food?
Hmm. Red would be the red sauce on a yummy bolognese pasta. Or beets. I love a good beet salad. White - well the pasta before a sauce goes on. Ha. Also red and white would be a caprese salad. Yum. Blue is hard. I don't care for blueberries. What else is blue? Hmm. I'm going with a blue tortilla chip.
7. What freedom do you value the most, and why?
Ah. Hard one. All are so valuable. That said, I'm going with Freedom of speech. Hello, I have a blog. Besides I'm thinking other freedoms are linked to being able to speak your
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Hey, its July 3rd. 174 days until Christmas. How's that for random? Ha.

Love your table! Less than 200 days until Christmas??? YIKES!
No, don't mention Christmas. We've finally got a whole week of nice summer weather and the summer is going too fast. :-) Cute decorations on your table! Enjoy your 4th.
I have been to Az, but not the Grand Canyon. I'm thinking of joining hubs on a business trip out that way in November. Love your table scape!
