Welcome to the Great Outdoors With Sharpie Extreme + Giveaway!

disclosureimg_4412If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you will know we are a camping family. I have posted a ton of pictures of our trips on both of those platforms. We try to head out to the wilderness a couple of times a year. These are memories my husband and I had as children, and we wanted to pass them along to our kids. Having grown up in Wisconsin, I like to get out of the city. Bill having grown up in the city also like to leave it to go to the great outdoors so we can actually see things like stars. I can tell you we have been through a lot of weather while camping too (the flash flood that happened under our tent several years ago was the most heart stopping of them all. We were all okay, and we moved the kids to the van while I literally held our tent up, so the water didn't end up in the tent. It was absolutely the craziest camping trip we have ever had).

Now, Will is my homebody child who never wants to join anything. This year he decided to join Boy Scouts, and this last weekend they had a camping trip we went on. We also worked with Sharpie Extreme to label our items before we went. img_4418 img_4417 img_4413 img_4421

It was nice to be able to label all of our things and know that our name would still be on them at the end of the shopping trip. Now, since this was a Boy Scout camping trip, we gave everything a run for its money on use.

I had to include the picture of dinner since Will's troop is the one who cooked it! They made walking tacos for everyone, and it was delicious! An amazingly great time was had by all. However, how did our labeling using Sharpie Extreme hold up? See for yourself!

The amazingly cool part is that these item were left outside in the rain when they came home on Sunday. (We had a surprise Sunday shower happen while we still had stuff outside!) I loved to see that our name is still on there and it is still clear even though it went through a thunderstorm! Needless to say, Sharpie Extreme is pretty awesome. It holds up to whatever you can throw at it during your great outdoor adventure be it crazy boys or rain!

Since we loved these products so much, I have arranged for 3 readers to win a Sharpie Extreme marker prize pack! Click the image below to enter:
