AtoZ Reflections

Print
It was last year when I saw this A to Z challenge and I found it really interesting but then, the challenge had already started. And this year, I saw an update and decided to participate in the same. There were lot of tips on the same all over the web and there were a few fellow bloggers who’d already scheduled their posts for the month before the month had even started! This made me real nervous. I was not even sure if I’ll be able to survive or not, and there were people out there whose entire thing was already done. I did not have any theme for my posts and all of them were random. A few posts I use to write before hand, and a few got real late (and actually they were the ones that got the least of comments), but that’s totally OK.. what’s important is I updated all of the posts before the clock stroke 12.
During this journey I discovered a lot of things about myself and others as well. April is one month that has the highest number of posts that I have ever posted on my blog. It gave me a great boost and a ray of hope to write more and more (You all must have realized, it requires lot of effort for me to write.. :P). So yeah, posting something everyday means a lot.. to me at least! And it wasn't that difficult, from what I was assuming it’d be! It taught me to write in shortest time possible along with finding the right picture or the right quote for the post, it helped me manage my time more efficiently while posting as well reading other's posts as well. It was truly exhilarating, enlightening and exalting experience for me. It helped me learn a lot many things about blog of which I was unaware of.

I found few of the wonderful bloggers and I am so glad that I participated in the challenge. There’s so much I learnt from every single blogger I met through this challenge and all of them are excellent writers. Starting with Shantala, what an amazing writer she is. Her posts were short, simple and filled with so much optimism that they actually became my daily dose for positivity. The woman never got late in posting anything and the examples and quotes were simply brilliant in almost all her posts. Parul is another blogger, whose writing and thought process I wish I had. The amount of research that she use to do for every single post was truly impressive and the rational approach that she has towards women’s right or anybody is truly amazing! I can never express in words how glad I am to be in touch with you Parul. Swathi is another terrific writer whose stories have won so many fans. The way she narrated every single plot and the way she left curiosity in the minds of her readers with the end of every single story was terrific. I learned about framing of stories and how should one go about them from you Swathi. Thank you so much. Jyotsna, her posts were the daily tit-bits that we have with people we love. I simply loved her theme and the conversations were truly enjoyable. The smart answers that most of us fail to give many times, in various small talks are now out there on her blog. Every single post was worth reading. Amrit’s theme was based on the names of animals and I’m sure, the harsh truth that it brought out at the end of each story about humans, truly left lines on foreheads of many. The best thing was that every single post had the same length and just a few words did magic and left something in the minds of readers. Thanks for sharing so much of wisdom Amrit. I came across Sushree a little late, but it was truly amazing to read her posts. They were filled with so much of fun and innocence. I think almost everyone would be able to relate with what she writes. There’s a sense of cuteness in her writing. Glad to have found you Sushree. Aathira is another terrific blogger whose writing impressed me a lot. So simple, yet so different. She knows how to play with words and do wonders for her readers. Her posts are a divine! In case if I have missed any, I'm truly sorry!

Lot of fellow bloggers came to my blog and took time to read my posts and left generous comments as well. I am really thankful to all of you for your love, support and encouragement that you have given me and my special thanks to A-to-Z Challenge, for coming up with something like this. It’s a great way to share, connect and build friendships on web and most importantly discover yourself.

It indeed was a hectic month and it went away real fast. And I loved/enjoyed every bit of it.

Happy Reading

Cheers

  10. I don't think I will ever have to buy another book or magazine... I'm still making my way through all the blogs that participated in the Challenge... And now I have 26 chapters to read on your blog!
