Christmas Foyer

Today I'm back sharing more of our home decorated for Christmas. This gold themed tree greets you first thing when you enter our front door.

This year we decided to buy a new foyer tree since our other one was over 10 years old, massive, and not pre-lit. We found this 9 foot tree for a great deal at Walmart and love that it's so easy to assemble.

I like to add baskets at the bottom of our trees to fill in those bare spots where the limbs don't touch the floor. The natural texture of these baskets add so much to the tree along with the plaid gift wrap and burlap bows.

This year I changed the garland on our staircase railing for a more natural draped look. I started out with plain green garland, then added lights and sprigs of faux pine all throughout the garland for a more natural look. For the finishing touches I added real magnolia leaves and a gold bow.

This is the view of the foyer from the dining room looking upstairs.

At night the glow from the foyer tree and garland lights are so beautiful looking in from the outside.

I'll soon be sharing more rooms from around our home decorated for the holidays.

  1. Your foyer is stunning! We have a two story foyer as well but unfortunately the way it is set up there is no room for a large tree. Thank you so much for joining THT this week! Happy Holidays.
