Travel Kits, A simple Way to Bless Others

I was sent the EBook Travel Kits, A simple Way to Bless Others by Donna Rees, published by The Old Schoolhouse.

When I got this ebook, I must admit, I was not too excited to dig into it. We, here in this house, are seasoned travelers. We pack up our car and our pull behind RV and travel all the time. In fact, we’re preparing for our annual summer trip to Colorado with the rest of the extended family soon. I must admit, I didn’t think I would learn anything I didn’t already know.

Well, I was wrong. Not only did I get some great new ideas, but I also realized what a wonderful idea it is to bless others with these Travel Kits.

I don’t know about you, but as the kids have gotten older, I have worried less about keeping them occupied in the car. I have so much else to do to get ready! But I have a feeling my kids are going to feel so loved and cherished when, out of the blue, in the middle of desolate, nothing-to-look-at-for-hours west Texas, I pull out a Travel Kit!

The other thing that Donna Rees stresses in this ebook is what a wonderful gift this would be to a frazzled mom trying to get out for a trip. Imagine if your friend showed up the day before you were about to leave with a little kit for your kids! What a HUGE blessing. And not just for traveling but what about a sick child, or a bedridden child or a hospitalized child? These would be a huge blessing!
I don’t want to say too much more and give away all the authors secrets, but let me just say I was very pleased to have taken the time to read this book.

Here are a few of the ideas I took from the book. These are just a few of the MANY wonderful things you can find in Travel Kits, A simple Way to Bless Others.

This is going to be a favorite, I suspect. We have a caravan of two cars going and three cars coming back. I plan to split up the code books between cars. I bet there will be much note passing when we stop for a potty break!

Note all the rounded edge scissors? These are all big kids, but I decided sharp scissors in a moving car was probably not a good idea, no matter what the age!

I am expecting to have beautiful coiffed hair this entire trip! (the pink polka-doted thing is a mirror compact)

This one is MY favorite! It might be a little big to use in the car. We'll see. But I bet this one will be a hit with all the girls all throughout the camping trip!

Here are all the items all packed up and ready to go. I'm going to staple the bags shut and stick them in a cabinet in the RV. That way when we stop, I can grab one for later.

I think this is such a wonderful idea, I have a feeling I'll be visiting this Ebook often!

You can go hereto find out how you can download this lovely book, and you can go here to see what others on The Crew had to say about it!

Happy Homeschooling (and traveling!)
