Me: How did you conceive the idea for your series? Was it a long, evolutionary process did it come to you all at once, and from where?
Alex's Answer: It didn’t begin as a series, that’s for sure! The first book came from an old manuscript that was heavily influence by Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, and Buck Rogers. Writing the first book wasn’t that hard, as I just re-imagined the story. The second one came from a short story, and I just expanded on the idea. The third was the most difficult, as everything came from scratch. I spent more time working on the outline than I did writing and editing the story!
