The Anti-Blogfest to End all Blogfest's Blogfest

Announcing the "Anti-Blogfest Gary Fest" on August 12, a blog hop in honor of Mr. anti-blog hop himself, Gary at Klahanie.

Hosted by Mark “Madman” Koopmans, Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh, “Life is Good” Tina, Rockin’ Robyn Engel and Morgan “The Morg” Shamy.

To join the fest, sign up at one of the blogs linked above! The rules are *very* simple.

Create the titles of three PG-13 rated blogfests you would never join - and then add a descriptive sentence or two. That's it!

I would NEVER sign up for:

1) The Erotic Better Homes and Zombie Blogfest. Where zombies learn to cook naked.

2) The 24-Hour Bad SideDish Blogfest. Where Jack Bauer and Chloe O'Brien save the world from an over-abundance of green jello.

3) The Disney-Van Damme Blogfest. Where children learn animated ways to work through their problems using heavy artillery and high kicks.

What are your Anti-Blogfest picks?

  1. Yuck, the first would be a nasty sight. Second I would join, Bauer could take down those jello terrorists.

  2. Truth be told, saving the world from green jello IS heroic...Maybe I can sell 'em a jar of Comet? Wait. That has nothing whatsoever to do with jello, does it?

    Great anti-blogs!

  3. OK, but - the jello really must be stopped! ;-)

  6. Those are some great ones and, no, any blogfest with Van Damme in the name would never see me sign up for :)

  12. I'd be a voyeur for that first one, for about 2 seconds. It does intrigue me though. I wonder if they'd learn to cook green jello naked. (?)

Thanks for these fun and random contributions to our Garyfest.

    It's great to meet you.

  14. That first blogfest would be messy, but funny. Maybe on Showtime.

  15. Aloha Liesel,

Thanks so much for participating in "GaryFest" and you have an awesome imagination :)

LOVED #3... and can imagine Disney's attorney's running around screaming," Put the jackhammer down, little child, put it down." :)

New follower - I'll be back (Austrian accent optional :)

  18. 1) Beauty Pageant Ice Hockey Players blog. Where miss congeniality discusses her league leading penalty minutes.

    2) Anthony Weiner photo contest blog. Anthony Weiner is funny.

    3) How to install helicoils blog. Where you learn how to turn special screw drivers. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

  21. Greetings Liesel,

My tour has finally arrived at your fine site. Yay! Did I mention I hate blogfests? Anyway, thanks for being part of the irony that is the anti-blogfest:)

Three mighty fine choices that would be non-choices. Of course, any blogfest, or blog hop, or alphabet challenge, is a no go as far as I'm concerned.

I just had a visual of your first one.

The "Groundblog Day" blogfest : Wouldn't it be great for a blogfest? This would be where we repeat the same paragraph, over and over again. Yes indeed, a paragraph that repeats over and over and over...If you get what I mean?
