A to Z San Diego Reflections

It turns out the 3rd time was the charm! Thank you to the organizers of the 2013 A to Z April Challenge for once again making this amazing platform available for bloggers to write daily and connect. A few things made this the best year yet!

1. The A to Z letter graphics were very helpful. I really appreciated having those ready made letters available on the A to Z site to use for each post. It allowed me to focus on the writing alone this time.

2. The other bloggers I discoved inspired me. Once again I fell behind on visiting blogs and responding to comments, but I'll claim I was going for quality over quantity. Many thanks to Leese, Susan, and KT Did for their consistent comments. I would recommend each of their blogs and will continue following them after the challenge. And thanks to Milo for his constant encouragement... I'm kind of biased, but if you're looking for writing inspiration In Medias Res and Write 1 Sub 1 can't be beat!

3. Writing about San Diego was so much fun! It allowed me to live out my travel writer fantasy for a month and helped me appreciate even more the fantastic city I'm lucky enough to live in.

See you in 2014!

Well, let's hope I blog a few times before next April.

Glad to hear you plan to come back. Good reflections post. This is what the co-hosts like to hear.
Now I'll have to check out your posts. I lived in San Diego when I was a kid and I love that city.

Keep up the great work! Your San Diego series was my favorite -- though, as a native, I'm probably biased. And thanks for the shout out!

Gotta agreed - loved the AtoZ letters graphics, I utilized all of them. It made for a clean, crisp post.

Cheers from an AtoZ cohort ~

I have so loved your A-Z, Sara!

It's so fun to see your own city through the eyes of someone else - your blog has been one of my favorite finds of the A-Z Challenge! And it's been even more fun to find the many things (and places) we both share a fondness for!

I sure hope you blog again before next year! And once I'm able to be out more, we'll have to meet at once of the places we both enjoy!

Sara,

I very much enjoyed this post and, like yourself, I'm still playing catch up with visiting other bloggers and blogs from the challenge. As a first time blogger, this challenge was more than baptism by fire — it was lighting a thousand candles with one match. And, like you, I somehow managed to pull it off.

Thank you for visiting my blog and for your fine and encouraging comments. Now I HAVE to visit San Diego again. You're a one-woman commercial for the place.

Cheers.

I truly enjoyed your posts about S.Diego!! I learned so much from you about a city just about 40 miles from me here in North County.
