Did I Notice Your Book?

It's a blogfest! AlexJ. Cavanaugh and Ciara Knight are hosting
Did I Notice Your Book Blogfest.

The deets:
Choose a book that you’ve read, something you saw on a blog or social media site, Goodreads, or a sales website. Anything that caught your eye because of a great cover, blurb or reviews, but DON’T tell the author that their book has been noticed. Instead, shout out on social media sites, and encourage others to do the same, until the author finds his/her book.

(I feel like I need to cue the Mission Impossible theme music. Don't know why).

My author: J.L. Campbell

The book: DISTRACTION

I read it. I loved it! Plus, the woman is a superstar: writing, editing, doing graphic design, marketing, and helping other writers like myself through her blog.

In case you’re not familiar with the world of DISTRACTION, here it is:

Three Jamaican women walk a tightrope of decisions when their lives are derailed by blackmail, deceit and infidelity.

JUSTINE CHARLES, sensible and self-contained, battles an addiction which could destroy her marriage, reputation, and relationship with her daughter.

DIONNE JONES, an aggressive go-getter, takes risks that cut a trail of devastation through her family and business.

KYRA MILLS, struggling single mother, is crippled by debt, bad judgment and destructive choices.

Can two of the long-time friends survive startling revelations involving their partners? And will the other push her obsession to the point of danger? -from Goodreads

So give her a shout-out by tweeting this blog post or...

  15. Thanks so much for featuring Distraction. There weren't exactly how I visualized the characters at first, but soon after the cover was done I started relating the three of them to the characters.
