Make sure you check out these two posts:
My Mother, my dad, and I had a GREAT time this weekend. It was WAY too short of a visit, but we made the most of our weekend.
My mom sent a few goodies for them to deliver to me. She sent a few plants and this awesome toolbox...
I am not sure what I'll put inside of it, but rest assured that I'll post some pics later once I fill it.
Mother and I made a trip to the Flea Market and I came home with these two boxes.
We then made a visit to my husband's uncle's house, the one that is moving, if you missed the post about the sentimental sign we came home with, check out this post HERE. Mother and I decided to browse around Grammy's old greenhouse and see if we could find some pots that we could use. And boy, did we hit the BIG TIME!!! Here are just a few of the items I found in Grammy's old greenhouse...
This pretty little wire basket will be the home of some bright yellow lemons once we go to the store.
This pot looks perfect in my cactus garden. I need to fill it up with a variety of succulents.
And I couldn't resist this little pot...it's an elephant! Grammy collects elephants and I thought this little pot would make me think of her everytime I went into my garden.
I also came home with these two pots and I put them inside these two boxes for a little added touch to our back patio. I even sent a few home with Mother for my mom.
While the girls were flea marketing and raiding Grammy's greenhouse, the boys had a good time too. My hubby and my dad participated in a sporting clays tournament. And wouldn't you know it that my dad placed 2nd in his category and my hubby placed first in his!! Way to go guys!!
Overall, I had a great weekend! I think Mother and dad did too. I wish they could have stayed a little longer though.
How was your weekend?

That little elephant reminds me of planters that used to sit in my own grandmother's kitchen window. Love the boxes too!

Such wonderful things to add to your garden but my favorite is the elephant!

Your green house finds are wonderful. I have a tool box just like that one. I had intended to put tiny summer roses in it...but my husband confiscated it for himself.....LOL

Love it! I just recently got some vintage wooden boxes (now I want a tool box - lol!). But they're sitting my mudroom empty. Thanks for the inspiration! I'm moving my plants. ;)
