We have a lot of kids crafts, pictures, schoolwork, projects- -
because we Homeschool Pre-school,
participate in Library Reading & Craft Time,
go to Sunday School, Children's Church, Wednesday night program
all at our church,
and we attend MOPS.
Soooo, when I found myself with a stainless steel fridge,
and nowhere to put the kiddos artwork...
I started thinking about what would work for us to display all of it.
I hate to admit this...
but here's my "Before" crazy way to display it all- -
This wasn't working! lol.
So that's when I came up with the "Mama Brag Board" idea.
I added my own flair to this idea!
{All the colors of the rainbow paint chip clothespins}
{My own cutesy name "Mama's Brag Board"}
I ♥ ♥ ♥ it!!
And the little artist LOVES it, too! :)
All you need to do for this project is go to Home Depot or Lowes & buy a 2x8 board. Have them cut it to the size you want. I actually had them cut it up a little bit for me. I used the other pieces to make this sign at Valentine's. Yes, I know that was a while ago... I've just not had time to get this project done!! Until now.
Then you purchase the other supplies... spray paint for your board & hangers and sawtooth hangers for the back of the board; clothespins (I bought the extra large ones); paint chip samples; scrapbook paper & stickers; Mod Podge (to apply the scrapbook paper, stickers to the board and paint chips to the clothespins); Gorilla Glue (to apply the clothespins to the board).
I cut my letters out with my Cricut. There are other ways. Possibly scrapbook sticker letters, or chipboard letters, or wooden letters... use your creative juices. The other steps are pretty easy to figure out. So I won't bore you with them. :) If you have questions, feel free to email me.
Thought it would be fun to add to the Paint Party:
This has been one of my most popular crafts lately,
so I'm going to add it to the new DIY Club Party!

So cute and it looks just as good loaded up with pictures and ribbons as it does plain. The true test of form AND function.
