First Flowers in My Garden

Finally, my garden pleased me with the first spring flowers.

In the farthest shadiest corner of the garden, white cyclamens are blooming.

The small patch of candytuft also has tiny white blossoms.

And my calla lily plant produced a beautiful flower as well. It’s the second one for this year; more flowers should come shortly.

Of course, I couldn’t resist the temptation of making a small white bouquet. I placed it on my desk in the office room, next to the computer. As I type this post, I look at the first spring bouquet from my own garden and it makes me smile.

Dearest Olga,

Congratulions with this achievement from your own garden; they look PERFECT! You must have a real knack for growing things.

Enjoy these spring forebodes!
Oh, by the way, I used the Tofutti as a base for a sauce over Spätzle with broccoli and shellfish. Adding some curry, garlic and Kurkuma (Turmeric) and just a bit of water to make it easier to blend and cook into a yummy sauce. Will work also for making pasta sauces... Endless possibilities and SO healthy! Glad you found your own as well.

Lots of love,

Mariette

Love,

Mariette

Olga, your white flowers are so pretty. I've found that often they are the most fragrant of any colour. My favourite cut flower is white freesia, they have a peppery scent I just love.
